2022 Registration day of the 14th 5-day Annual SUP 11-City Tour
Calm before the storm here in Leeuwarden as the athletes are slowly arriving at the Sup11 village. You can feel the excitement and tension building when everyone reports for their registration. Athletes are gathering and catching up with each other’s whilst discussing their upcoming challenge. Tomorrow, the 14th of September, the 14th edition of the Sup 11-City Tour will start. Here at Wissedwinger 1 the races will start tomorrow at 8:00. Different categories of athletes will start their 220-kilometer-long journey. With an expected sunrise at 7:05 and a general temperature around 18 degrees, the peddlers will face a (hopefully) lovely day. Before finishing in Sloten the peddlers will pass Scharnegoutum, Sneek and Woudsend and that’s it the first 48 kilometers done.
